Questions about the app
When does the Read-Fast app launch?
We are building it now, based on the same test and RSVP engine already live on this site. Joining the waitlist is the fastest way to get the exact launch date and early access before the public release.
Will the app cost money?
The core training, daily drills, WPM tracking, and comprehension checks, will always have a free tier. We plan to offer optional paid tiers later for advanced features, but nobody who joins the waitlist will be surprised by a paywall on day one.
Do I need to take the web test first?
No, but it helps. The free test on this site uses the same scoring logic the app will use, so taking it now gives you a real baseline to compare against once you start training.
What platforms will it be on?
The plan is iOS and Android at launch, with the training engine built on the same web technology already running the test and RSVP tool, so a browser version is realistic too.
Is this different from the free RSVP test?
The free RSVP test is a one-time demo of the underlying mechanic. The app wraps that mechanic in a structured program: daily drills, adaptive difficulty, and progress tracking over weeks instead of a single session.
